Celtic have today confirmed on Twitter and their official channels that Scott Bain has signed a new deal with the club that will see him stay for another four years.
The Bhoys remained top of the league last night with a 2-0 win over St Mirren but there is just a goal between us and Rangers at the moment.
Indeed, the title race is tough and it could well be who has the strongest squad that sees us over the line, so getting Bain on a new deal is a good thing.
We saw James Forrest sign a new deal earlier this week and it is clear the Hoops are intent on making key players stay put, with Bain now joining him in putting pen to paper:

Of course, it’s exciting to see players commit their future and he’ll now be eager to prove himself capable of getting Fraser Forster out of the side.
