In another of many victories for the Celtic fan base, it was reported today in The Scottish Herald newspaper, that Celtic were the highest supported club in Scotland this season and 13th overall best-supported team in the world.

Celtic boasted figures of 58,745 rocking up to Celtic Park every second week.

This means that the Hoops were supported on match days by more than 16 of the 20 clubs in the supposed best league in the world, the English Premiership, and even more than Champions League opponents Real Madrid and RB Leipzig.

With Celtic already registering a waiting list of 17,000 eager fans waiting in the wings to support the club in 2020 [Daily Record] I can only imagine that list has grown since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou.

This clearly shows that the devotion and desire of our fans to support the men in green and white but also that the optimism and feel-good factor under big Ange is at a high with the support relishing the chance to see our team play such an attractive brand of football.

With the return of football to Paradise this weekend against Motherwell in front of what is sure to be another packed Celtic Park because like the team, the fans never stop.

It’s the dreaded international break. So take away the boredom and try our *BRAND NEW* quiz. Who are Celtic’s most capped players from these countries?
