Celtic are looking well on course for an eighth league title in a row now as the Bhoys pull away from Rangers in the title race.
This was always going to happen to be honest, and now we can safely say that we are on course to win an eighth in a row, as well as probably bag another trouble.
One man that’s been talking who was also part of a successful time at the club, meanwhile, is Charlie Mulgrew who had some rather interesting stuff to say about Georgios Samaras.
Indeed, as quoted by the Scottish Sun, he revealed the Greek’s clear tendency to smoke – and smoke a lot:
“Big Sammy, good guy…but the smell of fags off him. Frightening.
“I didn’t know it – somebody said, ‘Smell the fags off him’.
“So you’re looking for it…the smell of fags off the guy, honestly.
“I don’t know if he smoked or if he gelled his hair with Lambert and Butler.”
Samaras was a bit of a cult hero during his time at the club and recorded some very memorable moments with us.
He clearly liked to light up too, though, and that impression has been firmly left on Mulgrew.
