According to the Daily Record, Portsmouth want to sign Celtic’s Calvin Miller as the transfer window approaches its final days in Scotland and in the lower leagues in England.

The transfer window is shut for Championship and Premier League sides south of the border but below them clubs can still do business alongside us in Scotland and those across Europe.

There’s still plenty of business to be done between now and the end of the market, then, and we’ll certainly be hoping that a few more signings can be made for us before the end of it all.

However, there also seems a chance that some of our players could leave the club before the end of the window though, with all due respect, Miller wouldn’t be a huge miss.

A good young player, he seems a little short of where we need him to be at the moment and so it seems as though Portsmouth could well be his destination.
