According to Football Insider, Scott Sinclair is weighing up trying to push through an exit by termination of his contract with Celtic at the moment.
The winger is clearly low down in the pecking order under Neil Lennon and he has struggled to get himself into the side under Lenny.
Indeed, it’s at this point it might make sense for him to move away from the club and with the Hoops looking good without him, we probably wouldn’t be that bothered if he did go.
Of course, he has been a real stalwart of one of our most successful periods and in that sense it would be a shame to see him leave in the way that this report is proposing.
However, it would shed the wages he earns off of the books and we’d surely be better off letting him leave than risking any issues with morale if things drag on.
It remains to be seen what happens here.
