Celtic man tipped to push for exit

Quoted by Football Insider, Alan Hutton has suggested that Scott Sinclair will want to leave Celtic and is unhappy at the moment.

It’s perhaps no surprise to hear such a prediction.

In terms of him being unhappy, that makes sense. No player wants to be left out in the cold and not playing – particularly when you have the talent that Scotty does.

And, if things continue in the way they have recently under Lennon in terms of the winger’s lack of playing time – Hutton has suggested that the player will want to leave the club before too long.

He said when asked if it was time for a change:

“Maybe. Now I just think as players, everyone wants to play.

“There’s no use just sitting there and being unhappy, it’s not helping anyone. I think possibly if he’s been told he’s not going to get as much game time as he would like, it’s probably better off if he moved on somewhere else to play.”

It’s certainly fair to assume that Sinclair might consider his future but he’s surely working hard to get back into the side and stay there even so.

He’s a professional first and foremost and I’m sure he’ll conduct himself in the right manner no matter what the future holds for him.
