Celtic striker Gary Hooper will undergo a scan to determine the full extent of the injury suffered in the midweek draw with Kilmarnock.
“The doc thinks it could be an ankle sprain but he’s going for a scan to make sure there is no fibula damage” – Neil Lennon
Hooper was carried off after a clash with Killie defender Frazer Wright and is to have checks to discover whether he suffered a broken fibula or ankle ligament damage.
However, the club’s medical staff were remaining optimistic that there wasn’t any break.
“It looks like an ankle sprain but we don’t know the extent of it,” manager Neil Lennon told BBC Scotland. “We don’t know if there is any other damage there.
