According to the Daily Record, Celtic scouted Kilmarnock defender Greg Taylor over the weekend as the left-back featured in their 1-0 win over Hamilton Academical in the cup.

The Bhoys have lost Kieran Tierney and up until now they have not yet really replaced him.

With two weeks to go in the window, though, they need to get thinking of potential arrivals to take over and it looks as though Taylor is of interest to us.

A recently capped Scottish international, Taylor enjoyed a good season last year for Kilmarnock under Steve Clarke and continues to do well, though Killie themselves are struggling in the league in particular.

He could be the natural successor in many ways to KT, then, but with two weeks left in the window, the Hoops had better make a decision quickly as to whether they want him or not.

If it was up to me, though, I personally would take him on.
