I don’t know about you but I like the look of young Osaze Urhoghide.

He’s a physical unit and judging by his performance against Real Betis in his first start for the club, the boy looks as if he could be a great defender for the club.

But with limited game time his development will stagnate and it seems the Celtic gaffer, Ange Postecoglou recognises this.

Reports have emerged [The Sun], that fellow SFL club Dundee are set to make a move for the former Sheffield Wednesday defender.

James McPake’s side currently sit precariously second bottom and with the worst goal difference in the league, the Dens boss has clearly earmarked Urhoghide as a player who can help fill those gaps at the back.

This will be the second time this season McPake has turned to Paradise for back up but as the loan move of striker, Leigh Griffiths, seems to be coming to an end after a pretty miserable first half of the season for the former Scotland man, McPake will be hoping for more joy from the young 19 year old defender.

This would be a great move for Osaze and Celtic. For two reasons.

The most important one, of course, is the club get a player out on loan to a club in the same division so he can learn and develop away from the spotlight of playing for Celtic.

And the second, merely from a pedantic point of view, Urhoghide could upset our rivals as he lines up against them whilst being unable to face us.
