Europa League football returns this week as we get to the crunch point in the group phase of this season’s competition.
It’s nice to be in a position, too, where with two games to go of a European group we are still well in with a chance of making it into the knockout stage.
And, that said, it seems as though we’ve got some options in terms of team selection for the game with Rosenborg which can only be considered a good thing.
Indeed, Leigh Griffiths came on and scored against Hamilton after time away with injury and he might have played himself into contention to start on Thursday.
A big game player, he’d surely relish getting the nod but Rodgers will have to decide whether or not he is ready.
