Dundee making move for Celtic youngster

|

Dundee are reportedly looking to add Ewan Henderson to their squad by making a loan move for the youngster. Dundee are said to be keen on strengthening their midfield and it seems as though young Henderson fits the bill.

Henderson has struggled for game time in the Hoops this season and has only made three appearances so far against Lille in the 3-2 Europa League win and both draws against Hibs and Livingston in the Scottish Premiership.

The young midfielder was exposed to more first team football last season when he signed for Ross County on loan and made 10 first team appearances, with four of those from the bench.

Henderson is a product of the Celtic youth academy where he has won the Glasgow Cup with the u-17 team and also featured in the UEFA Youth League, Scottish Challenge Cup and the Premier League International cup.

He made his full first team debut for Celtic in February 2019 in a 4-1 home win against Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership where he was also named the Man of the Match for an outstanding performance.

Henderson has also represented Scotland at u-19 level and has been capped 6 times for his country.

There is not doubt Henderson has talent and a move to Dundee would only aid in his development by offering him regular first team football.
