BBC journalist Tom English has criticised Neil Lennon for his ‘over the top’ celebration at the end of today’s Celtic 1-0 win away to Dundee.

The Hoops manager ran towards the Celtic end at Dens Park after Odsonne Edouard netted an injury time winner to send his side ten points clear of Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
It’s a huge three points in advance of the derby against Steven Gerrard’s outfit at the end of the month and despite a poor performance edges us closer to an eighth title in a row.
Is that not reason enough for celebration?
English wasn’t happy with his first comment either, taking to Twitter later on to double down on his initial opinion and label Lennon ’embarrassing’.
Touched a nerve with a few Celtic fans I think. Neil Lennon celebrating like he’s just beaten Guardiola’s Man City instead of relegation strugglers Dundee is a touch embarrassing. That’s all. Celtic fans very quick to mock Rangers when they do the same.

Clearly celebrating a crucial win passionately is too much for some and I suppose we really shouldn’t be surprised.
I doubt they’ll be much more gracious when we lift the trophy in May either.
