As Hatem Elhamed completes his move away from the club to Be’er Sheva, a video posted by his agent on Twitter, Dudu Dahan, shows the emotional moment where the big defender was reunited with his son.

Celtic boss, Neil Lennon, recently revealed he was struggling with life in Glasgow as his family had remained in Israel due to lockdown and Celtic granted him his £800,000 move back to his homeland.

The video shows Elhamed exiting the arrivals section of the airport and his son, upon seeing his father for the first time in months, ran lovingly into fathers arms.

It is a tear jerker, and the Celtic fans loved ever second of it.

One fan, Thomas Love wrote, “Good luck in the future Hatem . Family comes first 🙏🍀”

And another Colin Rodgers replied, “Good luck in your future endeavours Hatem.
Hope everything works out for you
History cannot B bought
& No1 can take it away
Quadruple Treble Champion.
You lived the dream for a little while
More than most could only ever dream of”

The amount of support shown for the big Israel defender was incredible and can be read here.

Elhamed was a popular defender amongst the Parkhead support. His ability to play right back and slot into the centre of defence was invaluable to the Hoops and he more than played his part in Celtic’s history.

He will forever be etched into the Celtic fans memory as part of an historic Quadruple Treble winning side and will never be forgotten as part of the Celtic family.

Good luck Hatem.
