English giants favourites to land Celtic ‘keeper as Italians circle

|

Its been a tough time for the kids at Celtic in these recent times.  Plying and learning your trade at Lennoxtown only for clubs like Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Liverpool to turn up and drag you to the riches of the Bundesliga and English Premier League, it’s tough being a youth academy player.

Of course, I am facetious,  and as Celtic are about to lose yet another young prospect to the likes of the EPL, here at Vital Celtic, we are wondering just what is going at the club that we are seemingly willing to let all our young prospects be poached by clubs in the UK and the Continent.

As reports from Italy are now suggesting, Manchester Utd are apparently the front runners to land highly rated youth ‘keeper, Vincent Angelini, as the young keeper is out of contract in the summer.  With Angelini having an Italian father, he enjoys dual nationality which a move for him all the more appealing, especially after Brexit.

The report also alludes to a multitude of Serie A clubs interested with the likes of Lazio, Atalanta and Milan all keeping tabs on the youngster but not without Southampton and Everton all allegedly interested in taking Angelini from under the Hoops noses.
