Midfielder Beram Kayal paid tribute to the Celtic support and said he would never forget the experience of his first Glasgow derby.
“I’m happy I am playing for a big club and playing in front of the Celtic support. I think in every game the fans come and help the players” – Beram Kayal
The Israeli ball-player was again at the hub of the action as Celtic overcame Rangers 3-0 at Parkhead to extend their lead at the top of the SPL to eight points.
“It was the first time I’ve played in the derby at Celtic Park and the fans were unbelievable,” Kayal told Celtic’s official website. “They were fantastic. I played in the Champions League with Maccabi Haifa last year but this was different.

Kayal actually had to be replaced after problems with his hamstring during the second-half but wasn’t expecting it to become an issue.
“I felt a little bit pain,” he added. “But I think I should be back in three or four days. I won`t play on Sunday as I’m suspended so it`s a good time to the rest and after the weekend I can come back.”
