Do we all remember this striker? Probably not as he wasn’t the most successful striker we have ever had, but Vakoun Bayo is set to seal a move to English Championship side Watford.

The Hornets will be looking to bounce back into the English Premier League and it seems they see Bayo as the man to provide the firepower to get them there.

Who would have thought it?

Bayo’s time at Celtic wasn’t the most successful as he only made 17 appearances for the club during his two year stint at the club.

He only managed to score two goals but got a move to the French second tier to Toulouse where he was more successful after scoring 13 goals in 36 appearances and then moved to Belgian side Gent where he only managed seven appearances with no goals.

Is Fabrizio Romano right? Will Celtic lose Juranovic this summer?

He then moved onto RSC Charleroi where he was really prolific with eleven goals in sixteen games and it seems that it was this form that alerted Watford.

Is he good enough to fire Watford back into the top tier in English football?

Many Celtic fans will say absolutely not but if this move does go ahead it will be very interesting to see if Vakoun is successful at Watford.

I, for one, hope he is.
