Freddie ready for huddle after Celtic medical

Former Swedish international Freddie Ljungberg has passed a medical with Celtic according to various sources.

It remains unclear whether or not a deal has been agreed between player and club but this looks to be no more than a formality at this late stage. Ljungberg could join his new team mates in the Celtic huddle at Ibrox, although a place on the bench may be manager Neil Lennon’s preferred option.

Update: Freddie has now signed for Celtic.
