Right, that’s plenty now. Let’s see the Celtic board do what they do best and get the best deal for Josip Juranovic that they can.

Just like Kieran Tierney, Moussa Dembele and Odsonne Edouard, the Celtic board MUST pull out all the stops and get as much money for the Croatian as possible.

And a hefty sell on fee.

This Monza interest has certainly set tongues wagging in Glasgow’s East End and many fans have been left feeling perplexed at the reported fee the right-back could eventually go for.

Many believe that Juranovic must have a minimum sell-on clause. Many are convinced of it because, after the World Cup, we were looking at well in advance of £10m for him.

And journalist, David Friel reckons that could still be the case.

Speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, Friel said, “I see this playing out in that Celtic are hoping for a bidding war for Josip Juranovic.

“I think he’s in the last week of his career and I do think he will go in this window but I think it will be dependent on Celtic getting the offer and the player getting the offer that he wants.

“I think ideally, Juranovic would rather go to Italy or Spain. That’s kind of what I’ve been told that he would rather go abroad than remain in the UK.

“So I think it’ll come to who bids for him.

“I think Celtic are preparing for life after Juranovic.

“Ange Postecoglou, remember a couple of months ago, he spoke about working two or three windows in advance and you think to yourself, I suppose that’s wishful thinking but I think he actually does.

“I do think some more will come in in terms of Celtic, but I think it will be more, the focus now, on outgoings with Juranovic being one of them.

“But I do think there’s a lot of squad players there that can be shipped out I think Celtic will be actively looking to do that right now.”

Monza could, potentially, start the bidding war. And Friel is not the first journalist to reckon that there is no release clause in place so we could still potentially be looking at north of £10m for him.

Especially, if what Friel says is correct, that Juranovic wants to go to the big-money leagues of Spain and Italy.
