Scott Sinclair was one of the first signings of the Brendan Rodgers era.

He was probably one of the most important as well (behind Dembele) as his form over the Treble Treble years turned the Englishman into a Celtic legend.

In 167 appearances for the club, Sinclair scored 62 goals and created 33 [Transfermarkt].

After amassing three league titles, three Scottish Cups and three League Cups, Sinclair left the club in 2020 and joined Preston North End where he spent two seasons after making 78 appearances.

He was released from his contract this summer.

Since his release, Sinclair is yet to find a club but yesterday he released a picture on Instagram where he is training at Chelsea in a bid to keep his fitness up ahead of, what he has hinted in the comments, getting ready for his next move.

Even at the ripe old age of 33 years old, Sinclair still has a couple of years left to offer a club and I’m sure for a player of his quality, it won’t be too long until the winger gets his next move.

Sinclair, although will not go down as a Celtic ‘great’ will always be a legend at the club for his part in the Quadruple Treble and nine in a row era.
