Celtic have closed the ‘Green Brigade’ section of their Parkhead stadium for safety reasons following earlier warnings to supporters to remain seated during games.
As a result those fans in section 111 are to be offered a refund or the opportunity of relocating elsewhere.
Chief executive Peter Lawwell previously warned supporters against “lateral movement” and has now decided to take action.
The Green Brigade are a self-styled ‘ultras’ group of fans particularly known for their displays and demonstrations.
