Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink has been voted as Celtic’s most exciting signing by our readers.
The 28-year-old Dutch forward, who joined in the summer from PSV Eindhoven, was backed by 52 per cent of those who took part in the poll, ahead of midfielder Thomas Gravesen, who received 29 per cent of votes.
Vennegoor of Hesselink impressed when he came off the bench against Hibernian to score on his debut, and fans are expecting a lot from the target-man in the future.
He will have a perfect opportunity to repay the fans’ faith when Celtic travel to Old Trafford for their Champions League clash with Manchester United on Wednesday (Sep 13).
