I’m always loathe to put ‘anti Celtic’ in a headline but in this case its absolutely warranted now.

Earlier this week Vital Celtic reported on Hugh Keevins’ THREE stinging criticism’s of Ange Postecoglou and Celtic after their 2-0 loss to St Mirren.

And I never even touched on his Jota comments. All pieces are available to read in this article.

In his criticism he branded the team ‘arrogant and complacent’ and he even accused Celtic manager, Ange Postecoglou of the same arrogance in his team selection.

A week has passed and Ange is in his homeland doing his level best to promote the Sydney Super Cup and has given extensive interviews where he has addressed the result ad nauseum.

And not only that, the Celtic boss was honest in his own assessment immediately after the game where he congratulated The Buddies and said that Celtic must play to their potential every week as every team presents a ‘potential hurdle’.  He even admitted he may have got his team selection wrong [BBC Sportsound].

Showing respect to the rest of the league whilst criticising his own team certainly doesn’t sound like an arrogant manager.

Speaking in his column in the Daily Record, Keevins said, “Taking advantage of the freedom of expression now being so readily embraced by Souey [Graeme Souness], I would say Celtic were guilty of complacency, ragged, arrogant and presumptuous.

“And I’ll let you put the first letter from each of those four words together to form a shorter, sharper assessment.

“The manager picked the wrong team and complicated the simple business of picking your strongest XI to win matches.”

No one can deny Celtic were poor last week. No one can deny the manager got it wrong. But C.R.A.P?

C’mon Hugh. Have you learned nothing?

I’m just perplexed that with a full week past and Scotland winning their last two international matches that Keevins took the time to make up yet another disparaging acronym after last season’s A.N.G.E. embarrassment.
