“I just about crashed my car” – John Hartson’s VAR/Madden comments spark incredible live radio Rangers fan barney

John Hartson is about as honest as they come as a pundit.

Criticises the club when it’s required but fiercely defends it against anti Celtic narratives.

And this weekend is no different.

After Celtic’s loss to Rangers in the Scottish Cup semi final, Hartson appeared on The Go Radio Football Show where his comments about VAR and Bobby Madden seemed to upset this Rangers fan.

What John said was bang on but this fan missed it due to his rage reaction.

Hartson said that VAR should be officiated by people from outwith the country to stop the accusation of bias towards referees.

Accusations that, by the way, come from both sets of fans in Glasgow.

Not just Celtic fans.

And I am willing to wager, judging by this fans reaction, that he would be one of the first calling out a referee’s decision if it went against the run of his own team.
