After a rather disappointing draw against Livingston today at Celtic Park, the Hoops fans will be lamenting an opportunity lost to take the top spot in the league, even if it was for less than 24 hours.

With Celtic controlling almost every minute of the match, the amount of chances created and not taken have seriously damaged the Parkhead’s chances of putting real pressure on RAngers at the top of the table.

But how different would it have been if Ange Postecoglou had kept with the winning side that took apart Hibs on Wednesday night?

Unfortunately we will never know but speaking on Celtic TV, John Hartson raised doubts on whether or not the Celtic boss got his starting team right, “I said, before the game, I particularly don’t like chopping and changing too much.

“I think I winning team. We would enforced into one change beat on came in for rockets but sometimes I think when the team wins, personally I’m not a manager.

“I’ve never will be, never have been, but I’m entitled to my opinion.

“I just think when you go to a really hard place like Hibs and you win the game comfortably and you play exceptionally well I don’t know why then Kyogo didn’t play today. Mikey Johnson didn’t start today.

“It’s a frustrating day for everybody at the club. It’s disappointing. But on another day you know, we could have easily won.”

It will be a source of frustration for the Celtic fans. Kyogo should start every match. Let him work on the defenders. Tire them out and then if the breakthrough hasn’t been made, then that would be the perfect opportunity to release Giakoumakis.

But in the words of Hartson, I am not a manager………but I am entitled to my opinion.
