As Celtic continue to be linked with various players in the transfer market, recent speculation linking the club to Stephen Odey has just been confirmed by the players club.
According to The Herald, Randers Sporting Director, Soren Pedersen said when asked about the story, “It can happen easily.
“There are many clubs that have shown interest in him because he is a good player, but there is nothing concrete from there.
“We are happy for him and it is not something where we say that he should be sold in this window.
“He has a great sporting value, so if we were to say yes to something, it must be both the right club and the right amount.”
The fourteen goal striker seems to be in demand from around Europe and it is of little surprise when you look at his goal ratio.
Averaging a goal just over every two games, the Nigerian international, at just 24 years old, shows great promise of turning into a top player.
Already capped twice, he is still waiting to break his duck at international level but I get the feeling that elusive goal won’t be too far away if Odey continues to keep finding the back of the net at club level.
