Christopher Jullien has dropped a hint on his Twitter page that he could be set for a return to action for the Hoops sooner rather than later. The towering centre back has been out of action since the 5-0 away win at Ross County with a back injury, but left Hoops fans hanging with a cryptic post on his Twitter feed last night.

The news will delight boss, Neil Lennon, as the recent groin injury to Ajer and Nir Bitton and Elhamed’s recovering from COVID has meant that the Hoops gaffer has not had a settled defence all season.  As Shane Duffy’s recent form has proven shaky, albeit much improved on Sunday, the return of the Frenchman is a timely boost as the fixtures are coming thick and fast for the Parkhead side.

With an earlier than expected return for Ajer, Lennon may be spoiled for choice for defensive options for the league clash against Motherwell on Sunday and the question will be for Celtic fans, will the Celtic boss revert back to the much maligned 3-5-2 formation or stick with the four at the back which has seen a positive change in form for the Parkhead side in recent weeks?
