Quoted by the Daily Record, Neil Lennon has discussed the future of Kieran Tierney with the speculation rumbling on about him.
Certainly, it is a position we have been in before during the transfer windows of years gone by with KT always attracting interest from around Europe.
Lennon is suggesting that we are going to hold firm in order to get the price we want for him, though, in his latest update on the situation.
He said about it all:
“It’s as you were. Will it rumble on? Probably.
“These things take their course whether it happens or not. We have a price for our player. He’s on a long-term contract and we won’t sell him for anything less than we feel is the right price.”
Certainly, we do not want to lose a player like this on the cheap as he has the potential to become a truly world-class left-back.
He needs to get a move that’ll suit him but it must also suit us financially as he is going to take some replacing – that is for sure.
For now, then, we appear to be in a holding pattern.
