Celtic are meeting Linfield in their Champions League qualifying second round first-leg later today (kick-off 5.00pm).

Skipper Scott Brown is available for the visitors having recovered from an Achilles injury picked up during the pre-season 9-0 victory over Shamrock Rovers.

But latest signing Olivier Ntcham, recruited on a four-year deal from Manchester City for around £4.5m, hasn’t travelled and therefore won’t be involved.

Defender Dedryck Boyata is still unavailable with a long-term knee injury, while Republic of Ireland winger Jonny Hayes should earn his competitive debut since arriving from Aberdeen.

“These type of games are never easy and they’ll aim to make it difficult for us but we go into the game with the expectancy to win,” manager Brendan Rodgers told BBC Scotland. “Our focus is on doing a professional job.”

Whoever progresses through from the tie will take on either Dundalk or Rosenborg in the next round.
