Celtic may have lost midfielder Nir Bitton for the remainder of the season due to a knee problem.
The 26-year-old Israel international was expected to now undergo surgery in order to correct the issue.
Bitton is the latest player ruled out of a depleted squad already missing Dedryck Boyata, Marvin Compper, Craig Gordon, Leigh Griffiths, Stuart Armstrong, Jonny Hayes, Anthony Ralston and Patrick Roberts.
“It’s a slight issue with his knee he has put himself through,” manager Brendan Rodgers told BBC Scotland. “We had a look at it last week in London and were told he needs the operation on it. That is probably him [out] for the rest of the season.”
