Midfielder Stuart Armstrong says manager Brendan Rodgers has helped him discover his absolute best form.

Recent goals against Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Rangers and Dundee found the 25-year-old named as Premiership Player of the Month for March.

Armstrong also includes a man of the match performance on his long-awaited full Scotland debut in their latest victory against Slovenia.

“I’m playing the best I’ve ever played. I’m very lucky to be playing under Brendan Rodgers,” he told BBC Scotland. “The influence he’s had in such a short space of time is phenomenal.

“We’re a much better outfit,” Armstrong continued. “I could speak for a long time about the different aspects of my game he has influenced. Not just me, for other players in the team and the team as a whole. We’re a much better outfit.”
