According to the Daily Record, Neil Lennon wants four signings this summer to complete his squad and it’s safe to assume that that is the minimum we need this window.
The Bhoys have not got a bad squad at all and attack-wise we’re looking fairly strong already but it is in defence where serious additions need to be made.
The likes of Mikael Lustig, Cristian Gamboa and Jeremy Toljan have all left the club and so, clearly, down the right side of defence is where we really need to make additions.
Lennon, according to the report, then, wants to make four new signings before the window shuts and it just remains to be seen who they are.
With the way that the summer market has gone so far for us, though, it is clear that the Hoops are going to have to raise their game to actually get the deals done – it’s not been that impressive so far.
