Odsonne Edouard has returned to first-team training after missing a number of Celtic matches because of injury.

The striker confirmed his situation last night ahead of what could be a season defining few days for the club.

The Daily Record report he is in line to be on the bench for tomorrow’s UEFA Europa League play-off showdown against FK Suduva at Celtic Park and is in line to to play against Rangers in Sunday’s mammoth derby.

The Frenchman has been out of action for over a fortnight after suffering a hamstring injury and looked to be in lethal form prior to that, scoring four goals in seven appearances.

He has already found success against the Ibrox side, scoring three goals against them last term including a stunning winner in a 3-2 victory at Ibrox.

To have him available should give the Celtic attack a new dynamic edge, with creativity and a lack of chances being a real problem in recent matches.
