Celtic skipper Scott Brown dismissed any thoughts of his side being scared during their Champions League loss to Malmo.

“We just didn’t turn up on the day” – Scott Brown

Manager Ronny Deila described his underperforming players of being “frightened and scared” following
the 4-3 aggregate defeat in Sweden.

“I wouldn’t say we were scared. We’ve played in bigger stadiums with more atmosphere than that,” Brown responded in the Daily Record. “We just didn’t turn up on the day.

“It was front to back all the way through. We didn’t start well and Malmo got us on the back foot,” he added. “We had to defend most of the game and didn’t create many clear- cut chances. That was unexpected.”
