Norwegian striker Erik Huseklepp would be ideal for Celtic according to his compatriot Thomas Rogne.

“He’s a great player. He is very technical and quick and he is tall, strong and powerful” – Thomas Rogne

The Glasgow club are keen to conclude a move for the 26-year-old SK Brann front-runner who has scored five times in seventeen appearances at international level for Norway.

Talks have already been held about a possible £1.3 million transfer and Hoops centre-back Rogne would be really happy to see it completed.

“He’s a great player. He is very technical and quick and he is tall, strong and powerful,” Rogne told BBC Scotland.

“He has done really well for his club in the Norwegian league and for the national team,” he added. “He has been linked with a lot of good clubs and he is a quality player.”
