I think I speak for all Celtic fans when I say that the support just love Ange Postecoglou right?
From the way he conducts himself off the park, deals with journalists, manages the players, his whole ethos and culture.
The man is a class act.
It’s also fair to say that he is one of the most popular Celtic managers in our history.
And we have had many great managers.
Which is why the club needs to do all it can to get him signed up and locked away from the prying eyes of the predatory clubs down south.
The gaffer has been the subject of much speculation recently as he is continually linked with job after job in the EPL.
But it’s the time to stop all the speculation. That’s also the view of John Hartson.
Speaking on The Go Radio Football Show, big John said, “So I always think I wouldn’t be too worried if I was a Celtic fan in terms of Ange being linked to other clubs.
“That’s a compliment. That tells you he’s doing very, very well.
“And I just think we just have to Ange when he says that he’s here for the long run.
“I think, tie him down, give him what he wants, back him in the market.
“And I think we have got a magnificent man in charge of the football club.”
I said in a previous piece tonight that the Celtic gaffer needs tied up to a longer-term contract.
It’s a no-brainer to be honest.
The way that Ange single-handedly healed the rift between the Celtic board and the fans surely cannot have gone unnoticed by the suits in the boardroom so I lay this over to you guys.
