Undefeated league champions Celtic were held to only their third draw of the season by neighbours Partick Thistle at Celtic Park.

The opening half was to remain scoreless and it took until on loan Patrick Roberts allowed Scott Sinclair an angled finish to make the breakthrough.

However, Thistle’s Ade Azeez then arrived at the near post to send Christie Elliott’s low cross into the far corner.

Celtic had an immediate opportunity to restore their advantage though, as Sinclair’s penalty was saved by Tomas Cerny just a couple of minutes later.
