Aiden McGeady had a good game again, and has won the young Player of the Month award for November during which time he scored twice.

Also good news ? in my opinion anyway, feel free to disagree on the forum (that wee button above that says ?club Forums?) ? is that it looks like Roy Keane is about to sign for Real Madrid. Reports from Spain suggest that he has already passed a medical which would surely end any possibility of him coming to Celtic. A few years ago he would have been welcome, but he can obviously earn more on the Madrid bench than he can at Paradise so that will probably sway his decision. We really don?t need his disruptive presence in the dressing room just as we seem to be building a decent team spirit.

The Scottish Cup draw gave us a nice short trip to visit Clyde where we won 5-0 last season. It will also see a reunion with Graeme Roberts and it will be nice to wipe the smile from his face once again and leave him with no reason to lead the party songs he loves so much.

The rather more high profile draw for the World Cup saw mixed fortunes for Celtic?s representatives. Boruc and Zurawski must fancy their chances of progressing from a group with Germany, Costa Rica and Ecuador. If they do they could face England or Sweden in the next round. Or Trinidad & Tobago of course.

Japan look to have a tougher task, being in a group with Brazil, Croatia and Australia. If Nakamura?s men do qualify they will probably face Italy or the Czech Republic so it won?t get any easier.

Finally, a word of congratulations to Rangers. They managed to scrape past Kilmarnock in today?s big mid-table clash, earn their first win in eleven matches and surge up the table to ? er, fourth. Just seventeen points off the top now lads, well done. Eck must stay.
