Celtic are through to the next round of UEFA Champions League qualifying after drawing against Rosenborg on Wednesday night but fans weren’t happy with the performance of Scott Sinclair.
The 0-0 result in Trondheim was enough to advance after the 3-1 win against the Norwegians in the first leg, with the Hoops progressing to face Greek champions AEK Athens.
It was a professional performance from Brendan Rodgers’ men and a good clean sheet, with the second half performance especially frustrating the home side in Trondheim.
One player that didn’t escape criticism from supporters though was winger Scott Sinclair, who again looked like a completely different performer compared to the one that tore defences apart in his debut season at the club.
He was wasteful in possession and struggled with his passing and dribbling all night.
Is it now time for Brendan Rodgers to drop him from the first team?

Scott Sinclair said he was 'staying for ten'… I hope he meant ‘ten aimless runs directly into the nearest defender before falling over and conceding possession’…

See anybody that excuses Scott Sinclair because teams ‘double up’ on him? Piss right off

Jack Hendry not good enough at this level yet, Scott Sinclair a passenger, James Forrest not involved in any way, up to now Celtic poor.

Scott Sinclair 🤔how can you go to a new club play brilliant win every award going then lose total confidence you’d think his first season would’ve given him all the confidence in the world but seems to have had the exact opposite effect on him 😳
