Defender Mark Wilson is keen to get back playing after Celtic’s scheduled match was again wiped out this weekend.
“I have never seen anything like it in my life and it’s just so strange to see a game at Celtic Park called off” – Mark Wilson |
The Hoops face another period of competitive inactivity following the early cancellation of their home game with Kilmarnock as the big freeze continues.
“It’s been unbelievable. I have never seen anything like it in my life and it’s just so strange to see a game at Celtic Park called off,” Wilson told Celtic’s official website.
“So hopefully we can get back playing next week as it`s going to be a bit of a pile-up come the end of the year.”
Celtic are due to face bottom club Hamilton Academical next weekend, when Wilson desperately wants to see his side return to the victory trail.
“It’s important we get on another run again as this is such an important time of the season in any league because of the fixtures and the way they are anyway without this pile-up,” he added.
