The game is constantly evolving and one of the developing strands as part of that involves e-sports.
I’m not really a big games console player anymore but back in the day I played a lot of FIFA and Pro Evo when I got the chance.
Certainly, they’re good fun but it’s become serious business now with football clubs settling up professional e-sports teams to compete.
Celtic are the latest, then, with them joining eFootball.Pro – a competition played on Pro Evolution Soccer 2019.
Indeed, we’re joining Barcelona, Schalke and AS Monaco as founding members and Gerard Pique – president of the competition and world-class footballer – has had this to say about it:

The defender has been one of the best in his position for a decade and he’s certainly seen plenty during that time.
He knows about the size of our club, though, and it’s great to see this message as well as the Bhoys getting involved in an exciting project.
