It’s fair to say that Celtic fans did not agree with former player and current Sky Sports pundit Andy Walker’s view of last night’s incident involving Alfredo Morelos.

The Rangers star was left embarrassed again after being sent off for the third time against Aberdeen this season, appearing to stamp on defender Scott McKenna before going down easy from an upward boot of the Dons man.

Most Scottish football fans were left in disbelief that the Colombian would again get himself involved in a high profile tussle, with indiscipline impacting his and Rangers’ season massively.

Walker though back the striker.

As quoted by The Scottish Sun, he said: “I’ve got to say I think Morelos is very unlucky there. I didn’t think there was any intent there. There was no aggressive motion. He’s been stupid in these games before, but I don’t think there was a stamping motion from Morelos. The more aggressive party is McKenna.”

Celtic fans couldn’t believe what they were hearing during the match commentary, believing it’s another sign that Walker is often found showing far too much bias towards Rangers, despite being an ex-Hoops player.
