The Celtic Player of the Year awards took place last night and it looks as though Scott Brown cleared up on the evening.
I think it is fair to say that the midfielder has been in fine form this season and it looks as though plenty have agreed with that.
Not only did he pick up the Players’ Player of the Year but he also won Player of the Year and picked up a Special Recognition award.

The Verdict
Brown, for me, has been our best player this season and he deserves all of these plaudits.
We might not have had as good a season as we did last year but we’re certainly still on course for an historic campaign and Broony himself looks set for an extra special year.
Quite possibly, he’s going to have won three trebles in two seasons and that’s not bad by anyone’s standards.
