As the pressure on Ange Postecoglou continues to build, albeit it mainly from the media and not the fans, many pundits have had their say on the clubs recent results and performances. Especially after the loss to bottom side Livingston.

Speaking on Clyde 1, Hearts midfielder Andy Halliday was supportive of the Celtic gaffer and had a strange swipe at the Celtic supporters claiming it would be wholly inappropriate if any were calling for the managers head, “What I will see after that is if sections of the Celtic fans are calling for Ange Postecoglou to lose his job that would be wholly inappropriate.

“I see progress there I think they’re a lot better side than last year.

“Yep, it was a rebuilding job.

“Yep,  he’s probably going to need more than one or two transfer windows but sometimes you can’t legislate for a team coming in on the last day of the window taking your striker for £15 million pounds or your one of your key players from midfield in the last day the window

“So that can sometimes be difficult but I think you need time. In terms of performances because some times even in Glasgow, winning ugly is not good enough.

“But what I will say is that you won’t get time if you lose three away games in a row and you lose five games in thirteen.”

It seemed like he was supportive of Ange but also seemed to warn that if results don’t pick up for the Celtic gaffer, he won’t get time to rectify it.
