Celtic earned themselves a very good win last night as we beat CFR Cluj 2-0 in the Europa League and, in the process, enacted some revenge.
The Romanians we know well from the Champions League qualifying rounds earlier on this season but it’s all about the group in the Europa League and it seems as though we’re in a better position than them right now.
Revenge has been earned, then, and after a good draw against Rennes in the first group game, I think we can be pleased with how this first third of this stage of the competition proper has gone.
Plenty of our players impressed, too, on what was a soaking wet night at Celtic Park with the Bhoys controlling much of the game and the away side offering very little threat.
