James Forrest was absolutely excellent last night as Scotland hammered Albania 4-0 to try and restore some pride in the national team.
It’s been fair to say that there has been a lot of negativity about the Tartan Army in recent days with a number of players dropping out and many on Alex McLeish’s back.
But, whilst I am still not convinced by the manager, it is clear to see that the players have still got plenty to offer on the international stage.
Forrest, then, was the leading light as he hit a brace and many have poured on the praise for him since – including our skipper:

Broony, of course, is now watching like the rest of us as a fan but he knows better than most what Forrest can bring to a side.
He’s been excellent this season, too, so let’s hope that only continues in the coming weeks and months.
