Celtic are keeping a close eye on Real Zaragoza striker Borja Iglesias, according to El Periodico de Aragon.
The Spanish newspaper reports that our interest in the 25 year old is well known, along with Premier League outfit Swansea City. There are reportedly a number of other English teams both in the top flight, and the Championship such as Brentford, who are interested in making a move for the forward.
The Spaniard is currently on loan at Segunda Division side Zaragoza from La Liga club Celta Vigo and he has scored 16 goals in all competitions. However, he will return to his parent team at the end of the season when his loan spell ends, and as his contract expires in 2019 it means he could be available for a relatively low amount at the end of the season.
Whether we`ll pursue the striker, it is debatable. We already have Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths in the squad, while there is also a £7m option to sign Edouard. Perhaps if we opt against signing the Frenchman from PSG, we could turn our attentions to the Spanish forward, but we`ll have to wait and see.
