There has been a lot said about Celtic’s high pressing and intense style of play.

Where the Hoops love it, our rivals do not. And for two reasons.

The first and most obvious reason is that we did not give teams a minute.

Whether in possession or out of it, Ange’s team are constantly on the go.

In possession, we are pass masters. We constantly probe and try and find ways to break down teams. Trying to get the ball off us is a mammoth task in itself.

Out of possession we are just relentless. We constantly chase and harry teams and with that comes a lot of fouls.

My own theory on the fouls is that opposition players go down too easy at the slightest contact just so that they can get a breather.

But to the Ibrox moonhowlers, they believe that because we commit the most fouls and receive the least yellow cards, there is some sort of referee conspiracy theory.

Yeah, I know. From the supporters of a team that gets a penalty every other week but never gets penalised for handballs.

It’s quite incredible.

Well if they were raging about that, they will be absolutely seething about this.

As highlighted by Glasgow World, who took the info from Transfermarkt, Celtic are ranked the least dirtiest team in the country with only 42 yellow cards and two reds.

And the best bit? According to the SPL official stats, we have committed 292 fouls. One LESS than the Ibrox lot who are second bottom of the discipline league table with 52 yellows and 2 reds.

So tell me again about referee conspiracies?

Who were Celtic’s most expensive transfers these seasons?
