We all love Kyogo Furuhashi. The boy is a joy to watch. Brilliant energy, skill and his finishing ability is superb.

In fact, his finishing could be better because he should have more goals to his name than what he already has but that says more about his movement and intelligence on the park than his ability as a goal scorer.

I think it is fair to say the Celtic fans get off their seats every time the Japanese international gets the ball to his seat.

Ange Postecoglou deserves every bit of credit for bringing him to Paradise. No question.

But there is praise, and there is PRAISE.

Quite rightly the Hoops fans are excited about Furuhashi but this Celtic fan called in Clyde 1 Superscoreboard and was absolutely lavish in his praise for Celtic’s new bhoy, “The team are playing absolutely amazing. Every Celtic fan is absolutely delighted with what’s happening the now.

“It’s just a pity that these Champions League games have come at a time where you were thinking to yourself well if that was two or three weeks ago, you would be a lot more confident going into  they games than what you where back then with the style of football that we are playing the now.

“I mean, that young boy Kyogo. What a signing!

“In my opinion, I think Celtic’s pulled off the signing in world football. The best signing in world football this season.

“To unearth him for £4.5m. What a bit of business that is. He’s scored five goals in five games? Potentially it could have been ten in five games with the chances he’s had.

“He  just needs to calm down a wee bit. I think he’s just too enthusiastic.”

The best signing in world football. What a statement and one I think PSG would take great issue with.

There is no doubt he is a find. There is no doubt that what we have seen so far from Kyogo has been outstanding but lets not put too much on him at such an early stage.

The season is still young and the Celtic fans are now looking forward to each game with exuberance rather than apprehension.
