Chris Sutton has been talking about Neil Lennon recently after our former midfielder couldn’t contain his anger at Hibs’ loss last night.
Whilst the Hoops played out a pretty boring 0-0 draw with Kilmarnock, a feisty Edinburgh derby was also taking place in the league with Hearts beating their rivals from Easter Road.
After the game, too, Lennon threatened to quit and was clearly seething, which prompted Chris Sutton to offer up his take:
Neil Lennon has been a breath of fresh air since he returned to Scottish football.. If he does quit it will be a massive loss for Hibs and the Scottish game…

A former player and manager of ours, of course, some of our fans also got in on the debate so let’s see what has been said:
He's done a great job at Hibs imo.
Hope he stays for their sake!— tEwWy mUnWo (@celtichoff) May 10, 2018

Heβll not quit! Just hoping to get one last push from his tired players on Sunday!

He won't π he's an emotional guy who wears his heart on his sleeve at times, once he calms down he'll see what he's achieved, he could've been just rattling the Hibs boards cage in an attempt to get them to back him fully next year π€ subterfuge is not beyond him either π

McGeoch to Celtic by the looks of it. It was same reason he left Celtic. His best players were going. Big Vic etc and he had to try and replace them with potential. He'll go.

The Verdict
I’d be sad to see Neil leave myself, to be honest.
I obviously want to beat him when we come up against Hibs but other than that I want to see him do well.
Certainly, it’d be nice to see him regularly take them to second place in the league and so I hope he remains.
