In demand Celtic forward, Odsonne Edouard, has been linked with a move to the English Premier League according to a report in The Sun.
Crystal Palace are the club credited with an interest as they look to replace the misfiring Christian Benteke. The story claims that the Eagles are lining up a £20m move for Edouard which would see the Parkhead side more than double their money on their £9m signing from Paris Saint Germain in the unlikely event that they accept it.
The London club have previously been rumoured to have an interest in Alfredo Morelos for a similar fee so they obviously feel they can get better value for money by shopping in Scotland.
Edouard has been in fine form of late in both the Europa League and for France under 21s in particular, with 22 goals in 29 appearances in all competitions, it’s clear to see why interest is hotting up.
Should Celtic sell Edouard in January?
Yes
No
Celtic fans took to Twitter to rubbish the claims and what exactly to do with their £20m bid.
Crystal Palace will make a £20m bid for Celtic’s French striker Odsonne Edouard, 21 by the sun. 20m for his bandage is fair 50m for the player though.

1) £20m isn’t going to come even close to cutting it. We paid more than £9m for him and in doing so broke our transfer record. He’s worth more to us than simply doubling our money.
2) Why would a striker who’s highly rated around Europe volunteer himself for a relegation battle?— Marc McArdle (@marcmcardle1) November 17, 2019
Not happening tho’ . I’m sure the Bhoy will be aiming higher when the time comes ooh and double the 20 mil by then ……Crystal Palace line-up Celtic striker Edouard in £20m January swoop
